Every Friday we will provide an activity recommendation that you can do with your tribe to work on taking everyone from their forced association to being somewhat friends (or more!)
Today's Activity: Volunteering is a great experience for everyone and fosters a “tribe team spirit” while giving back and helping the community. While the organizations
Cost: Free!
Age: Volunteering on-site is probably best for kids ages 7 and up; bag decoration at home is great for all ages!
Make it extra: Finish up your volunteer activity by visiting a new restaurant that no one has been to and make it a tribe event to try this new cuisine, this gets everyone out of their comfort zone and a common experience; the more outside of “your norm” the better! Think, Asian, Ethiopian, Indian, Pakistani, Seafood or something along those lines.

3) Make Christmas Cards at home for Seniors |Deadline is December 2 for drop off!
4) Visit Seniors: contact a senior community or home, meal delivery services or caregiver service in your area to find volunteer opportunities. There are many lonely, homebound seniors that would love a visit; COVID-19 vaccination is required for some organizations.
5) Regardless of your ability to volunteer at any of the above or not, please sign up at Volunteer Houston to keep up with Volunteer opportunities throughout the year!
